Hotel zum Stern in Oberaula

My first visit to the Hotel "Lepper" was in 1972 - and since then I've always been happy to come back here whenever we're in the area. To find consistently high quality somewhere for almost 50 years (especially in a restaurant!) Is a sensational quality that should be mentioned and praised.

We had heard a lot about this hotel and it was our first time there for lunch. What can I say ... it was delicious and it went very quickly. Large portions and as a menu with soup, salad and dessert. Very good quality at a fair price. Nice ambience and brisk, friendly service. Conclusion: we will definitely be back! Addition 10/30/20 We just had to come back before the lockdown. It tasted very good again and the service was perfect. Dear Stern-Team, please hold on, we think of you!

Lots of spacious rooms, very good food, good service. Ideal for exploring or hiking in the vicinity, also suitable for cyclists.

Nice little hotel with very friendly staff and a good kitchen. Currently trying hard to disinfect and protect guests. We felt we were in good hands.

A rustic hotel with old charm and at the same time fresh new accents. Clean rooms, friendly and courteous staff. The barbecue evening with a regional buffet and the great food in the restaurant are really to be recommended. The quietly laid out garden invites you to relax, as does the spa area with sauna and co. Only the winding building and the noisy rooms are a little less great.

Great hotel with friendly staff and good prices. Our room was a decent size, clean and very comfortably furnished. We found the breakfast and dinner to be very tasty. Parking spaces are plentiful and free of charge. Full marks from us and a clear recommendation 😊

We were at the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed it very much. The ambiance balances somewhere between old-fashioned and outdated, but at the end it was a nice place with good food for a reasonable price.

A hotel with flair. It is spacious and rustic designed. The staff is very friendly and helpful. For guests there is a WLAN available throughout the area. The offer for breakfast, as well as dinner is rich and varied. Parking is available around the hotel. Here you can enjoy and stay well. The place is very centrally located. It is only 29 kilometers to Bad Hersfeld. Fulda is also nearby.

Very nice hotel with new buildings. Stayed here in a very large apartment. Extends over 2 floors with two bathrooms and a small kitchenette. Really great cut and very tastefully decorated. The food in the hotel is highly recommended and the staff friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

Always a very pleasant stay in a very nice hotel. Nice indoor pool, good restaurant and good breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. Most of the rooms are decorated in a country style and some have a balcony. The bathrooms are either with shower or bath. In the new building there are modern designed apartments. The hotel also has meeting rooms and a large garden outside.

I had a very good night here. Great room / apartment, and breakfast was very, very good. I also tried sauna, which was also very good. There are two different saunas with different temperatures. Towels and bathrobes are included. In addition, there is a swimming pool. Since the hotel was fully booked, I was fortunate to get the (new) "hunter" apartment. Great!!
